Cosmetic Surgery Operations (Page 4)
Earlobe Reduction
This simple plastic surgery procedure can be performed at the same time
as a facelift operation.
Eyelid Surgery (Blepharoplasty)
Eyelid surgery, or blepharoplasty, can enhance the appearance of the eyes
by removing excess fat, skin, and muscle from both the upper and lower
eyelids to redefine the shape of the eye. Transconjunctival blepharoplasty,
used when only fat, and not skin or muscle, needs to be removed from the
eyelid area is performed by making an incision from inside the lower eyelid.
Face Lift (Rhytidectomy)
A face lift works by removing fat deposits, eliminating excess skin, and
tightening the muscles that cause wrinkles or droopy skin. See Face
Lift
Facial Implants
This cosmetic surgery changes the basic shape of the face using shaped
implants. These implants improve receding chin, add prominence to cheekbones,
and reshape the jawline.
Facial Resurfacing (Laser)
A cosmetic procedure which uses a carbon dioxide (CO2) laser to smooth
the face and wrinkles, and reduce facial scars.
Forehead or Brow Lift
Designed to minimize forehead creases, drooping eyebrows, and horizonal
creases on forehead by removing excess tissue and tightening the forehead
skin.
Hair Replacement
Cosmetic surgery to enhance hair growth by means of hair implants.
Laserbrasion Surgery
Light beams vaporize the uppermost layers of skin to reduce the appearance
of wrinkles, scars, birthmarks and other facial skin defects.
Lip Augmentation
A cosmetic surgery procedure which involves surgically advancing the lip
by using dermal-fat grafts. Fat collagen injections is another alternative,
although here the lip augmentation is not permanent.
